TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to participate in the KFC 6 & SHOUT Promotion (Promotion) and redeem free KFC products form part of these conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 and over. Employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
3. The Promotion commences on the 23rd September 2025 and finishes Sunday 13th April 2025 (the Promotion Period). Any attempts to redeem the Promotion Prizes outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
4. There are two ways to participate through in 6 & Shout, through the “Live Mode” and “Season Mode”.
5.The Promotion is to run through participating KFC restaurants nationwide (Participating Stores). For avoidance of doubt, KFC restaurants that are temporarily closed for any reason are not considered Participating Stores and Entrants are not entitled to alternative compensation if they cannot redeem any Prize or Reward as a result of no Participating Store being open in their area.
LIVE MODE
6. To enter the Live Mode game, Entrants must participate in the 6 & SHOUT digital experience via the KFC app. Entrants must be registered with a KFC account and enter their contact details. The entrant must select which zone they think a six will be hit into in the next Eligible T20 Match.
7. Entrants must select a zone before the Eligible T20 Match commences. Once the match commences, the zone selection for all entries submitted prior to the commencement of the match will lock. New Entrants can still select a zone for the match once it commences, but their entry and choice of zone will only be valid for the 2nd innings. The entries will lock again once the 2nd innings has commenced and there will be no further selections allowed for the remainder of the game.
8. Definition of a “six” - A six will have been considered to have been hit for the purposes of this Promotion when a boundary six is signalled by the on-field umpire during the relevant Eligible T20 Match. A boundary six is awarded when the batsman hits the ball in the air and it crosses the boundary line before coming into contact with the ground.
9. Eligible zone determination may be at The Promoter’s discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. If one or more sixes are hit into the Entrant’s selected zone during the match, they will be eligible to receive one free KFC product that corresponds with the zone selected by the Entrant, this will be accessed by the Entrant’s MyGoods page. Winning Entrants will be notified via SMS with advisement of their prize being available on their MyGoods page by midday on the day after the Eligible T20 match finishes.10. No entries will be accepted outside the Promotion Period.
11. Entrants may only enter a maximum of once per Eligible T20 Match.
12. There will be twenty one separate T20 matches at which the KFC 6 & SHOUT Live Mode prizes can be won. The relevant T20 matches are:

WICKED WICKETS
Availability of Wicked Wickets
13. Wicked Wickets will only be made available upon the event that a pre-defined Eligible T20 match (ref. clause 12) that our 6&Shout Live Mode has been activated on. Wicked Wickets will only be made available to Entrants who have selected a zone on Live Mode for this game prior to the game being cancelled or called off before the match finished.
Notification of Wicked Wickets
14. SMS is the only communication tool for advising the Entrant that the game has been cancelled and the way Wicked Wickets can be accessed.
Expiry of Wicked Wickets:
15. Prizes relating to Wicked Wickets expire within 5 working days from scheduled date of the relevant cancelled Eligible T20 Match.
Prizes available for Wicked Wickets:
16. The prizes available for Wicked Wickets are aligned to the full pool of prizes advised in our overall T&C’s linked to Live Mode.
Prize Choice:
17. No prize choice will be available for Wicked Wickets, prize allocation will be at random.
Redemption of Wicked Wickets prizes:
18. All conditions are aligned to how Live Mode prizes operate, see the Live Mode prize section for full details.
19. The Promoter may at any point amend, modify or cancel any aspect of this Promotion at its sole discretion.
PRIZE POOL
20. There are eight KFC products that will be on rotation throughout the season and can be won for selected Eligible T20 Match throughout the Promotion Period (Prizes):

- KFC Zinger Burger;
- KFC Regular Chips;
- KFC 2pk Wicked Wings;
- KFC Snack Burger;
- KFC Slider (any flavour);
- KFC Chocolate Mousse;
- KFC Regular Potato & Gravy; and
- KFC Secret Recipe Chicken Single Piece
- KFC Mini Popcorn Chicken
21. Entrants will also have the ability to pick a ‘Mystery Zone’. Entrants who select this zone, will be assigned the free item chosen loaded on their MyGoods page that can be won in the event that a six is hit into the designated Mystery Zone during an Eligible T20 Match.
22. Prizes corresponding to Prizes for the Live Mode will be loaded onto the Entrants MyGoods page by 8am the following day after the match concludes
23. If an Entrant is a winner of a Prize, they will receive a SMS message to notify them of the Prize they have won, advising the Entrant that the prize is now available on their MyGoods page. To redeem the Prize, winners must redeem the reward on their MyGoods page on the KFC app for delivery or online pick up orders. Service fee & minimum spend of $20 still applies on KFC Delivery.
24. Prizes are not redeemable via aggregator delivery platforms such as, Uber Eats, Door Dash & Delivery Easy.
25. Prizes won will only be valid for five days after the corresponding Eligible T20 Match during which the Prize was won.
26. A prize cannot be used more than once per day
27. Limit of one free KFC product per customer per transaction per 24 hours and not available with other promotional products.
28. Prizes that are not claimed in the time and manner specified in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed forfeited. No compensation will be payable if an Entrant is unable to claim a Prize as stated for whatever reason, including winning a Prize that has for some reason been deleted from the Entrant’s phone. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. The KFC Zinger Burger, KFC Regular Chips, KFC Slider, KFC Chocolate Mousse, KFC 2pk Wicked Wings, KFC Snack Burger, KFC Potato & Gravy, KFC Secret Recipe Chicken Single Piece and KFC Mini Popcorn Chicken Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
30. All Entrants who have won a prize will be notified via the same mobile number through which the entry was made. The Promoter is not responsible for any undelivered SMS messages to an Entrant’s mobile phone.
31. If a six is not hit into a zone during an eligible match, then it is deemed that the zone was not unlocked and Entrants who selected that will not be awarded a prize.
32. For avoidance of doubt, Entrants playing Live Mode will only be entitled to receive a maximum of 1 Prize per Eligible T20 Match described in the terms and conditions above.
33. The promoter reserves the right to correct issues caused by technical errors, including but not limited to:
- Assignment of more MyGoods vouchers beyond what has been agreed to on Live Mode and Season Mode prizes
- Incorrect allocation of Colonel Coins
SEASON MODE
34. To enter through the Season Mode, Entrants must play the “Season Mode” game on the KFC App to score runs and claim their run total to convert to Colonel Coins. The run total can only be claimed once per day. Colonel Coins can be used to redeem KFC Rewards, which can be attained in the Rewards tab of the 6 & SHOUT digital experience.
35. Colonel Coins can be redeemed for 6 & SHOUT Rewards (Rewards), including the following products:
-
- KFC Regular Chips;
- KFC Zinger Burger;
- KFC 2pk Wicked Wings;
- KFC Snack Burger;
- KFC Slider (ANY flavour);
- KFC Chocolate Mousse;
- KFC Regular Potato & Gravy; and
- KFC Secret Recipe Chicken Single Piece
- KFC Mini Popcorn Chicken
36. Each product will have different Colonel Coin values associated with them. Once redeemed, the corresponding Colonel Coin amount will be subtracted from the Entrant’s Colonel Coin Balance.
37. Once an Entrant redeems a 6 & SHOUT Reward, they will be notified via text message, advising the Entrant that the Reward is loaded into their MyGoods page for the corresponding product
38. The Reward on the Entrants MyGoods account will only be valid for 5 days after date of redemption. The Rewards are only available for online redemption through online pickup and delivery. $5 minimum spend applies for online pick up and $20 minimum spend & service fee applies for delivery orders.
39. All 6 & SHOUT Rewards will be advised of via the same mobile number through which the Entrant signed up with. The Promoter is not responsible for any undelivered text messages to the winner’s mobile
40. To redeem their reward, Entrants must Redeem the reward by adding it to their cart on their MyGoods page, when redeeming online on the KFC app for delivery or click & collect orders.
41. There will be a daily capped amount of 6 & SHOUT Rewards that can be redeemed with Colonel Coins for each product. If this cap is reached for a specific product, the product will become temporarily unavailable for redemption. The daily cap will reset at midnight, allowing users to redeem the product with their Colonel Coins once again.
42. 6 & SHOUT Rewards are not redeemable via aggregator delivery platforms, like UberEats , Door Dash or Deliver Easy.
43. A 6 & SHOUT Reward, cannot be used more than once per day.
44. Limit of one 6 & SHOUT reward can be claimed per customer per transaction. Not available with any other promotional offers.
45. 6 & SHOUT Rewards that are not claimed in the time and manner specified in these Terms and Conditions will be deemed forfeited. No compensation will be payable if an entrant is unable to claim their 6 & SHOUT Reward as stated for whatever reason, including receiving a 6 & SHOUT Reward that has for some reason been deleted from the Entrant’s phone. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
46. Colonel Coins are not deemed as a real currency are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The KFC Zinger Burger, KFC Regular Chips, KFC Slider, KFC Chocolate Mousse, KFC 2pk Wicked Wings, KFC Snack Burger, KFC Potato & Gravy, KFC Secret Recipe Chicken Single Piece and KFC Mini Popcorn Chicken. Rewards are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
47. All remaining Colonel Coins will be deemed invalid at the end of the Promotion Period.
ZINGER POWER
48. ZingerPower is a power up mode unlocked within Season Mode, which gives your avatar superpowers, which ultimately provides the chance for the user to generate double points for the level its unlocked within.
General
49. Total Prize pool across Season Mode and Live Mode RRP value is capped at $960,000 (KFC NZ) for the duration of the Promotion. If the Prize Pool is exhausted before the Promotion Period ends, the Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel any aspect of the Promotion (including any offer) at any time in its sole discretion.
50. No compensation will be paid to any person if a winner is unable to redeem a Prize for any reason.
51. By entering contact details through the KFC 6 & SHOUT digital experience, Entrants consent to the Promoter contacting them at the contact details provided regarding any Prizes won.
52. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize to any winner if, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, that winner has breached these terms and conditions or has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion.
53. The offer including each of its elements, are not transferable, changeable, or redeemable for cash.
54. In the event that the Prize, or any part of the Prize, becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Prize, offer or that part of the Prize offer will be void, and no compensation will be payable. If a Participating Store runs out of a particular prize, the Participating Store will supply an alternative prize of equal or lesser value. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow Promotion redemption in-store at its absolute discretion and without giving reasons.
55. By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for promotional/advertising purposes, and agree to make themselves reasonably available for this purpose. The ensuing copyright will rest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the Entrants.
56. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
57. All decisions made by the Promoter, its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
58. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following:
-
- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control)
- any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference
- any entry or offer claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
- any variation in the offer;
- any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant
- use or acceptance of a Prize/offer
59. As a condition of participating in the Promotion, all promotional products redeemed by Entrants will indemnify the promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with this Promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including costs on a solicitor-client basis) which the Promoter and its affiliates may incur arising out of the participation in the Promotion or (if applicable) participation of the Promotion, any breach of these terms and conditions, or any wrongful or illegal act or omission, howsoever caused.
60. Any person suspected of cheating in the opinion of the Promoter through the manipulation of entry, creation or use of software to aid in multiple entries and otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting in any way fraudulent, in the opinion of the Promoter, will be removed from this Promotion and damages may be sought.
61. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided by Entrants for the purposes of this Promotion and for future promotional purposes. For the purposes of notifying winners and facilitating redemption of the Prizes, the Promoter may pass the winners’ personal details to its agencies and other associated organisations. Failure to provide requested personal information may disqualify a person from being able to receive a Prize. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may access and request correction of any of the details about them held by the Promoter by sending an email to privacy@rbd.co.nz
