Q. How do I play KFC 6 & SHOUT LIVE Mode and SEASON Mode?
A. Via the KFC app. There will be a home page tile which will launch the games.
Q. When does the promotion end?
A. After the end of the Summer International Season of T20 Cricket, Monday 1st April 2024
Q: What should I do if my online redemption code is showing invalid, but I haven’t redeemed it?
A. If you have attempted to redeem your online code by adding the code in the cart without completing the whole check out process, the code may show an invalid error message. The code needs to be removed from the cart to be reactivated for redemption.
Q. I’m having issues with my online redemption code and/or Colonel Coins – who do I contact?
A. Please email c.sanders@kfc.co.nz with any redemption code or promotion queries and the team will be able to assist!
Q. How can I redeem my online code?
A. Redeem your code online via KFC app or web, by entering the unique code into the online coupon field when viewing your order basket.
Q. My mobile number has changed - how can I update the mobile number for 6 & SHOUT SMS messages?
A. You can update your mobile number in the profile page to update the number you will receive SMS messages for 6 & SHOUT (tap the top right icon on the homepage).
Q. My Colonel Coins balance has disappeared. What should I do?
A. In the first instance, close out of the KFC app entirely and re-open it again to quickly troubleshoot the issue. Make sure you are successfully signed into your KFC account before you enter the 6 & SHOUT game. If you are still having trouble, please email us at c.sanders@kfc.co.nz
Q. Can I redeem my online code with other promotions/deals?
A. Online redemption codes are not valid with any other special offer or coupon deal. They can only be redeemed once per transaction.
Q. My device can’t launch the game experience properly?
A. The KFC 6 & SHOUT experience is only compatible with iPhone 8 and later models, with iOS version 12 and above. For Android users, the game is compatible with all Android OS devices with Android 8 and over. You will need to ensure you have enough free space on your device to play the game, and internet connectivity.
Q. I didn’t receive an SMS message?
A. Check your mobile number is correct in the profile screen. For Android users, double check that the SMS hasn’t landed in your spam folder.
Q: I’m trying to redeem a KFC Reward but it says the product is unavailable?
A: The daily code allocation for the specific product has been exhausted. The allocation is refreshed at midnight daily, so you’ll be able to redeem the product with your Colonel Coins again tomorrow.
LIVE MODE
Q. Do I need to purchase something in order to redeem the free product?
A. No, you do not for Online Pick Up orders. However, the usual minimum $20 spend still applies on delivery orders.
Q. Where can I redeem my prize?
A. Prizes can be redeemed via KFC Online Pickup and KFC Delivery orders only. Prizes cannot be redeemed Instore, via Kiosks or Delivery Partners such as Uber Eats.
Q. What happens if a 6 is not hit into my zone in LIVE Mode?
A. Sorry! You don’t win anything this time round, try your luck again for the next T20 match. You will receive a text confirmation the morning after the T20 match to confirm whether you have won or not .
Q. Is this promotion available at all KFC stores?
A. The Promotion is running at all participating KFC restaurants nationwide. In the unlikely event that a store is unable to process prize orders for any reason they may choose to opt out of the promotion.
Q. I won a prize through the LIVE Mode, when will I receive my online redemption code?
A. Codes will be sent out the following day after the T20 match is complete at 8am via SMS – make sure to update your contact details in the KFC App to ensure you receive your code.
Q. How long is my LIVE Mode online redemption code valid for?
A. Winning codes will be valid until midnight the day after the corresponding match day.
Q. Can I swap out my prize for something else?
A. Unfortunately, you are not able to swap out your prizes for anything else.
Q. How many times can I redeem my prize?
A. If you have won a prize, you can only redeem the online redemption code once within the 24hr period after the corresponding T20 match.
Q. When do I have to make my pick by for the next eligible T20 match?
A. You can play and/or change your pick as many times as you like up until the corresponding eligible T20 match begins. The final pick you submit is the one that will be locked in and eligible for a prize for the match. If you submit your pick before the current match begins, your zone pick will be eligible for both the first and second innings. If you make your pick during the first innings, it will only apply to the second innings.
Q. Why am I locked out of making my pick?
A. Once the match commences, the 1st innings will be locked. If you have not made a pick for the current match, you will only be able to submit a pick for the 2nd innings of the current match up until the beginning of the 2nd innings. Once the 2nd innings commences, the entries for the current match will close and you will only be able to submit a pick for the next eligible T20 match. Refer to the countdown timer in the 6 & SHOUT game if you’re unsure.
Q. How early can I pick a zone for the next LIVE Mode match?
A. As soon as the 2nd innings of the current eligible T20 match begins, you will be able to pick your zone for the next match in the current T20 series.
Q. Can I lock in my pick for multiple games at one time?
A. No, you are only able to lock in your pick for the current eligible T20 match.
Q. How many zones can I pick for one match?
A. Only one zone pick per international T20 match! If you make your pick ahead of the match, it will apply to both innings. If you make your pick during the first innings when it is locked, then your pick will only apply to the second innings.
SEASON MODE
Q. What is SEASON Mode?
A. This year, we have introduced the Season Mode which allows players to play against the Colonel in an arcade-style T20 match. The aim of the game is to score as many runs as you can. Players can then claim their run total and convert it to Colonel Coins to spend on KFC Rewards in the Rewards tab of the 6 & SHOUT digital experience.
Q. How many times can I claim my Total Runs?
A. You can only claim your Total Runs once per day. You must tap the claim button in order for the Colonel Coins to be added to your balance.
Q. Do I need to purchase something to redeem my KFC Reward?
A. Yes, the $5 minimum spend for online pickup and the usual minimum $20 spend for delivery orders still applies.
Q. Where can I redeem my KFC Reward?
A. KFC Rewards can be redeemed via KFC Delivery, and KFC Online Pickup orders only. They cannot be redeemed Instore, via Kiosks or Delivery Partners such as Uber Eats.
